Enfield Boy Identified as Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Enfield Police say the boy who died after being hit by a motorcyclist while riding his bike is 11-year-old Nico Filippa, according to an NBC Connecticut report.

Enfield Police report units responded to the scene of the accident -- Broad Brook Road near Salerno Drive -- at 7:05 p.m. on Sept. 25.

Fillipa was hit while riding south bound on Broad Brook Road.

The motorcyclist was identified as 28-year-old Brian A. Dolloff of 185 Broad Brook Road, Enfield.

Dolloff, police say, was transported to Hartford Hospital, and the child was transported to Bay State Medical Center before being flown to Connecticut Children's Hospital by Life Star.

NBC Connecticut reports Dolloff has been released from the hospital.

The accident is under investigation, police say, urging anyone with information regarding the collision to call Officer Paul Dubriel by calling 860-763-6400, ext. 1322.
