Residents seeking relief from the heat will soon be enjoying frozen treats and cool rides at the annual St. Bernard Carnival.
The festival, to be held on the church grouns at 426 Hazard Ave., runs Thursday through Saturday from 6-10 p.m. nightly. Admission is free.
"It's our third year back at the church property, and we have three beautiful days forecast," carnival chairman Rich Stroiney said. "We appreciate the support of parishioners, neighbors and friends."
