Happy Wednesday, Enfield!

Two meetings will be held at town hall today.

The board of education's security subcommittee will meet at 9 a.m. to discuss the deployment of security personnel in executive session.

A subcommittee of the department of public works will also meet to discuss, among other things, the results of the Sept. 14 town vehicle sale and give an update on roads in town.

Cheer on you Raiders! Girls volleyball hosts Coventry at 5 p.m. tonight. You can also see boys and girls cross country in action, if you're up for a short road trip. Team takes on East Windsor, Canton and Bolton at East Windsor High. The starting gun sounds at 4 p.m.

Cheer on your Falcolns! It's Rocky Hill day for Fermi sports, as all three of today's varsity athletic events feature matches against Rocky Hill.

Girls soccer and girls volleyball are bot at home, with games at 6 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. Boys soccer travels to Rocky Hill for a 7 p.m. match.

New Parents, you can swing by Tell Me a Story at 76 Palomba Drive for a 10:30 a.m. story time - it's intended for babies who are newborn through 18 months.
