1. Today is Election Day. Enfield residents will be voting for Town Council, Board of Education and Constables. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Polling places are: District 1, ; District 2, ; District 3, ; and District 4, .
2. At 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, the CL&P outage map showed 1,047 customers in Enfield, or 5 percent, were still without power.
3. Nov. 8 is National Harvey Wallbanger Day, National Cappuccino Day, Cook Something Bold Day and, believe it or not, National Dunce Day. (How can National Dunce Day and Election Day be on the same day?)
4. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 68, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 44.
