Jan. 27: It's National Chocolate Cake Day

1. Jan. 27 is Chocolate Cake Day, Punch the Clock Day and Thomas Crapper Day.

2. A free children's Lego-mania session will take place Friday at 3:45 p.m. at the Enfield Central Library, 104 Middle Rd. See what you can build in an hour!

3. Both local high school girls basketball teams have home games Friday at 7 p.m. takes on Tolland, while entertains Avon.

4. Friday will be rainy, with a high temperature near 53, according to the National Weather Service. Friday night will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 29.
