Enfield Opens Warming Stations During Cold Spell

Temperatures are expected to dip below 0º over the next couple of days.

The town of Enfield announced Tues., Jan. 21 that warming stations will be open through the duration of a cold spell forecast to hist Enfield.

According to the town website, warming stations have been designated at the following locations:

  • Senior Center (229 Elm Street) from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Enfield Public Library (104 Middle Road) from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Enfield Police Department Lobby (293 Elm Street)
The town warns no pets will be allowed to enter the designated warming centers, and no special staff or services will be offered at the locations.
