The Howland & Sargent Group, Purple Ribbon Sponsor of Network Against Domestic Abuse 2nd Annual “Purple Event, An Evening of Chocolate”

The Network Against Domestic Violence “Purple Event, An Evening of Chocolate” will be held on Friday evening, October 18, 2013 at the Holiday Inn in Enfield at 6:30 p.m. The Howland & Sargent Group is the Purple Ribbon Sponsor of the event while 360 Federal Credit Union, Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company and Rockville Bank are the Humanitarian sponsors. Allied Community Services is the Champion sponsor.

 

Guests will enjoy a variety of wine and beer tastings provided by Joe’s Fine Wine & Spirits of East Windsor, a signature chocolate martini tasting, a wide array of hors d’oeuvres, carving and pasta stations and chocolate desserts.  Entertainment will be provided by Pair Extraordinaire, a light jazz duet.  In addition, a silent and called auction will be held. One lucky person will be going home with a ½ carat diamond donated by Morande Jewelers.

Services provided by The Network Against Domestic Abuse are free and include outreach, crisis intervention, support and counseling services, as well as a 15-bed emergency shelter for women and children.
