Team Parkway Hosts Camp 4 A Cure to Raise Funds for the Alzheimer Association Memory Walk

On Friday August 2, Parkway Pavilion Healthcare staff members, led by Team Parkway Co-Chairperson, Suzanne Moriarty, hosted their annual Camp 4 A Cure event. Camp 4 A Cure is the kick-off event for Team Parkway to raise funds for the Alzheimer Association Memory Walk which will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013.

Parkway staff, residents and their families participated in the event that raised over $1,000.00 for Team Parkway. Festivities included an old fashion barbecue, smores around the campfire, a chili cook-off and raffles with prizes donated by local businesses.

There was a special appearance by “Ginger the Clown”, Parkway Resident Elaine Petri and her magic box. Entertainment was provided by “Off The Cuff” who graciously donated their time to perform at Camp 4 A Cure.
