Rich’s Oil 6th Annual Turkey Drive – Donate a Turkey and Receive a $10.00 Gift Certificate to ShopRite-Miller Farms Markets

In an effort to help ensure that families and individuals in north central Connecticut enjoy a festive Thanksgiving meal, Rich’s Oil, Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, located at 12 Moody Road, Enfield, will host their 6th  Annual Turkey Drive. This year’s Turkey Drive will be held on Saturday, November 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Everyone who donates a turkey will receive a $10.00 gift certificate to ShopRite-Miller Farms Markets in Enfield and delicious refreshments compliments of Rich’s.  The turkeys will be delivered to food shelves in Enfield and surrounding towns.

Last year’s drive resulted in 135 turkeys and $500 donated to the food shelf. Rich Tkacz, owner of Rich’s, and his staff are gearing up for this year’s event and looking to increase the amount of turkeys donated.  Tkacz stated, “I am very excited to be hosting our 6th annual turkey drive and looking forward to partnering with Charles Miller of ShopRite for an even greater drive this year.”

Rich’s is also conducting a “like” us on Facebook contest, anyone who likes Rich’s on Facebook will be entered to win a $100 gift card to ShopRite and a food pantry of their choice will also win a $100 gift card.
