Liz Corbett, the Party Hostess Diva, will conduct a workshop at Allied’s Attic Thrift Store beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. She will demonstrate how to create easy fall and holiday décor projects from found objects and items in the store.
Seating for the workshop is limited and advance registration is required. Please call (860) 265-3829. There is no charge to participate. See more about Liz Corbett at www.facebook.com/partyhostessdiva.
Beginning on “Black Friday,” Nov. 29, Christmas and holiday décor and decorations will be on sale at Allied’s Attic. Black Friday will also mark the beginning of the 3rd annual Allied’s Attic silent auction. Auction items will be on display in the store’s entrance. Proceeds will benefit unfunded programs and services for adults with intellectual disabilities at Allied Rehabilitation Centers.
It's not too late to find Thanksgiving and Hanukkah décor at the Attic. “We're looking forward to serving the community throughout this holiday season,” says Thrift Store Manager Marisol Suarez. “We want to thank our customers and donors for their outstanding support over the past year and wish everyone the happiest of holiday seasons.”
