Fermi Graduation

Thank you Mr. Newton, Mr. Kaupin, Mr. Superintendent and the Enfield and Mr. O'Connell for making this years graduation the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at a graduation.  A graduation that starts at 7:00pm? and guest were allowed to acquire seats beginning at 4:30pm but needed a hand stamp. For those parents (like myself) who are working at 4:30 were denied access to the lawn seats even though someone had already gone there an saved seats for our family.  What is most disturbing is my elderly mother flew in from Texas to see her grandson graduate.  When I asked Mr. O'Connell and a police officer stationed at the entrance what arrangements were made for the elderly and the handicapped I was told "nothing"  How disgusting...and what a total lack of insensitivity and a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Great job guys, once again you remind me of why I moved out of Enfield. Ironically we were told only 1200 people could fit on the field, however when the ceremony was over everyone was allowed on the field well in excess of 1200 people.
