The elite competitive dance team from Kathy’s Dance Dynamics studio in Enfield struck solid gold at the That’s Entertainment National Finals Competition held in Atlantic City, NJ in July. The team, comprised of twenty-three girls age 8 – 16, won 1st place in nine group and 11 solo performances in the Senior, Intermediate and Small Fry categories, scoring the Top Five overall high scores of the entire competition.
In addition to their winning group and duet Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Lines and Production routines, medals were awarded to solo dancers in the following categories:

Lyrical Age 17-19:Kristen Ehrhardt – 1st Place Solid Gold and 2nd Place Overall High Score, Kaitlyn Prucker – 2nd Place Solid Gold
Open Age 7-8 Open: Carly Demers – 1st Place Solid Gold and 3rd Place Overall High Sc
Tap Age 15-16: Lindsay Veilleux – 1st Place Solid Gold
The team qualified for the Nationals after winning the regional competition held in Windsor, CT this past spring.
“The teaching staff and I are so proud of each dancer. The fact that we were able to win 3 years in a row is a testament to the girl’s hard work, dedication, passion and love of dance,” said Kathy Connaughton, owner of Kathy’s Dance Dynamics. “Support from their parents is a huge key to their success as well.”
Kathy’s Dance Dynamics offers a well-rounded dance education through competitive and non–competitive classes including: Pre-School Dance (2-4yr old), Floor Gymnastics, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical Ballet and Pointe. Classes for adults and family rates are also available. Kathy and her dedicated staff, Nancy Calvi and Sharon Whalen, have been providing artistic and progressive instruction combined with patience and endless enthusiasm for 38 years.
