Easter Bunny Visits Parkway Pavilion Healthcare Residents

The Easter Bunny delighted Parkway Pavilion Healthcare residents when she stopped by for a visit. Grandchildren and great-children of residents and staff members had the opportunity to color Easter eggs, have their faces painted and do the bunny hop with the Easter Bunny. Entertainment was provided by Cindy Jevins, Director of the Goldtones.

Parkway Pavilion Healthcare staff continually provides interactive events for residents and their families. According to Diane Sokol, Recreation Director at Parkway Pavilion, “Parkway Pavilion is our residents’ home, it is important to involve their family members in activities and keep them informed and included.” Recently Parkway held a forum where family members had the opportunity to meet with social workers, recreation staff and the Executive Director.

Residents look forward with enthusiasm to groups and organizations who visit Parkway to entertain, visit with and engage the residents in activities, games and crafts.  Local groups and organizations are encouraged to contact Recreation Director, Diane Sokol at (860) 745-1641 to learn how they can become involved.
