December Specials at Allied's Attic Thrift Store

Everybody likes surprises. Allied’s Attic Thrift Store at 294 George Washington Rd. in Enfield is featuring surprise sales every Saturday in December. These unannounced sales could be for books, clothing, housewares, holiday décor, accessories, etc. The Attic is open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. every Saturday.

If your family likes to focus on the spirit of giving and “paying it forward” during the holidays, please consider donations to Allied’s Attic. "Demand for clothing has increased this year and donations aren’t keeping up,” says Thrift Store Manager Marisol Suarez. "Many people count on us for the holidays. We need gently used clothing for men, women and children”

Donations for the thrift store can be delivered to the back of 294 George Washington Rd. Mon. - Fri., 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you're unable to make it during those hours, we’re accepting donations on Saturdays in December from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Only clothing and small household items can be accepted on Saturdays. Tax forms are available.

"The generosity of our donors has enabled us to serve our community for six years," Marisol states. "We truly appreciate your support."

Items for the 3rd Annual Allied’s Attic Auction, including international pottery and collectibles, are on display in the store’s entrance. Proceeds will benefit unfunded programs and services for adults with intellectual disabilities at Allied Rehabilitation Centers. Bids will be accepted until noon on December 20th.
