Parkway Pavilion Healthcare is Top Corporate Team to Raise Funds for Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Alzheimer’s Association recently announced that Parkway Pavilion Healthcare of Enfield was the top corporate fundraiser for the Enfield Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Team Parkway co-chairpersons were Sara Stone,
Parkway Admissions Coordinator and Suzanne Moriarity, Assistant Recreation Director. A total of $2,334 was raised through a variety of events including Camp 4 A Cure, Baked Potato Day and Dress for a Cause.  There were 17 team members who walked for the October event.

The Enfield Walk grew by 50% over 2011. Dollars
raised provide services to those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, advocate for policy change and research funding and advance research toward prevention treatment and a cure.

The top fundraisers are recognized on theAlzheimer’s website at www.alz.org/ct and at a Walk Celebration event.
