Enfield Rotary Club names 2012 Paul Harris Fellows

The Rotary Club of Enfield presented two Paul Harris Fellowships at an awards banquet held in June. This year’s Fellowship recipients are Mary Ann Olsen of Somers and Rich Tkacz of Enfield, owner of Rich’s Oil Service. Each was honored for their contributions to and support of community service projects in the local area as well as internationally. In honor of each recipient, the club made a $1,000 donation to the Rotary Foundation. These dollars support educational and humanitarian programs conducted around the world by the Rotary Foundation. For example, Rotary is at the forefront of the effort to eradicate polio from the face of the earth. The Enfield Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at the Holiday Inn in Enfield.
