PHOTOS: Frostbite 5K Run and Walk

A photo gallery and complete results from Saturday's event, which benefits Community Health Resources.

More than 250 runners and walkers braved chilly conditions Saturday morning in Community Health Resources' annual Frostbite 5K road race and walk in Enfield.

The event began and ended at the Enfield Street School, and was won by Brian Nelson of Vernon, who toured the 3.1 mile course in 16.49. Daniel Krasemann, 11, of Suffield, was second, while Morgan Anderstrom of Enfield finished third.

Abby Mahoney of Holyoke, MA won the women's division with a time of 19:58. Laura Nelson of Vernon was second, while Julia Bishop of Windsor placed third.
